I planted tomato plants today!!! I know, I know,...it is way too early in the season, but our local garden center has this tricky marketing strategy that gets me every year... they sell these very healthy looking 4" tomato plants at a price so low that, -- well, for example, I go in there today to buy potting soil. I wasn't even thinking about tomatoes... but... there they were. Tempting me. I almost resisted the urge... but ended up buying 5 varieties.
Maybe in a few months we will be enjoying home-grown tomatoes like these in our new kitchen! (I wonder which will be ready first...? ...?... ....tomatoes...?...or kitchen..?..)
